Job Description:

Great opportunity to join a well established programs at the Reading
Hospital and Medical Center in West Reading, Pennsylvania. Candidate
must have completed a general surgery residency as well as a minimally
invasive/laparoscopic and/or bariatric surgery fellowship. Must
be proficient in Lap Band and Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass; experience
with revisional surgery a plus. The hospital-based program includes
a full-time Medical Director, Program Director, Bariatric Coordinator,
three dieticians, physician extender, and a full compliment of
support staff. The Weight Management Center's outpatient practice
is conveniently located in a recently completed free-standing
ambulatory center. The program is recognized as a Center of Excellence
by the SRC/ASMBS and the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Association. As
an employed physician, this position represents many opportunities,
- including leaving behind the hassles of managing an office practice
- so you can focus on patient care and surgery. Call is equally
shared between the three surgeons. A very competitive salary and
