Candidatemust have completed a general surgery residency as well as a minimallyinvasive/laparoscopic and/or bariatric surgery fellowship. Mustbe proficient in Lap Band and Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass; experiencewith revisional surgery a plus. The hospital-based program includesa full-time Medical Director, Program Director, Bariatric Coordinator,three dieticians, physician extender, and a full compliment ofsupport staff. The Weight Management Center's outpatient practiceis conveniently located in a recently completed free-standingambulatory center. The program is recognized as a Center of Excellenceby the SRC/ASMBS and the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Association. Asan employed physician, this position represents many opportunities,- including leaving behind the hassles of managing an office practice- so you can focus on patient care and surgery. Call is equallyshared between the three surgeons.
