Summit
ElderCare (SE) is a part of the national Program for all Inclusive
Care for the Elderly (PACE), the only one in Central Massachusetts.
This well established program offers a welcome alternative to
nursing
home care. Sponsored by Fallon Community Health Plan, it provides
a combination of medical, social and insurance services that provide
support to caregivers and offers frail elders an alternative to
nursing home placement. You will join three highly-satisfied
geriatricians and 4 nurse practitioners in providing one-on-one
care to 150-200 enrolled participants assigned to your care. Summit ElderCare is seeking a geriatrician due to expansion and
increased program enrollment in the Worcester, MA area. Candidates
will be BC or BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. BC/BE
in Geriatrics is desirable but is not a prerequisite for the position.
The successful candidate will be skilled in the care of the
older adult. This position requires excellent communication skills
and the ability to provide high quality care and services utilizing
an interdisciplinary team approach. Compensation is competitive
and the benefits are comprehensive.

Worcester, the "Heart of the Commonwealth" and the second largest
city in New England, is located in Central Massachusetts about
45 miles west of Boston. Worcester has evolved into an education,
medical and research center.
