Job Description:

All Children's Hospital, Tampa General Hospital, and The University
of South Florida (USF), Division of Pediatric Surgery have multiple
employment opportunities to meet the individual needs of pediatric
surgical candidates within the Tampa Bay area and referral region
of the west coast of Florida. Positions are available through

All Children's Health System
o Covering All Children's Hospital exclusively

The University of South Florida
o Covering Tampa General Hospital via shared coverage agreement The
goal of this recruitment opportunity is to provide comprehensive
surgical care to the children of Tampa Bay and participate in
resident and fellowship training.

All Children's Health System: Through its wholly owned subsidiary,
Pediatric Physicians Services, Inc., the interested pediatric
surgeon will have the opportunity to work full time at one of
only two specialty licensed pediatric hospitals in the state of
Florida. All Children's Hospital is the primary pediatric affiliate
to USF. All Children's Neonatology and Oncology programs are
among the largest in the Southeast and provide a ready-made market
for the selected candidate. Its pediatric trauma program is fully
staffed by Health System employed Emergency Medicine physicians.
In addition, All Children's has a full replacement hospital facility
currently under construction to open in late 2009.

All Children's Health System, Tampa General Hospital and The University
of South Florida: For the surgical candidate interested in working
in a wholly academic environment, positions are available that
allow for their time allocation to be equally shared between Tampa
General Hospital and All Children's Hospital. Tampa General Hospital
is the University's primary academic affiliate and has a State
Designated Comprehensive Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Program.
The Children's Medical Center at TGH has a level III NICU. As
physician members of the Department of Surgery, these positions
would have the benefit of being fully integrated into the academic
surgical model.
