You will be working in a state-of-the-art 400-bed community hospital,
which includes a JCAHO Certified stroke program currently headed
by a former academic physician and cerebrovascular specialist,
who conducts clinical research, participation in which can also
significantly increase income. Further, this primary stroke program
is now evolving into a comprehensive regional center of excellence
and the opportunity to assume the leadership Medical Director
role in the program in the near future represents a rare opportunity. Bethesda's

into a major medical center featuring not only the stroke program,
but a brand new heart institute with national credentials, as
well as a comprehensive rehabilitation facility specializing in

You will be paired with a former academic neurologist with self-specialty
training in cerebrovascular disease and neural critical care.
This neurologist will be able to help establish your practice
quickly and the opportunity to become involved in ongoing clinical
research studies, which in stroke, Alzheimer's / dementia, Parkinson's
disease and peripheral neuropathy is an added benefit.

Not only is there a stroke program, but a memory disorder program
at Bethesda Hospital and the memory program has established itself
as one of the nation's leading private clinical research center.
